The Padel Association of Canada is proud to have hosted the 2008 World Championships.

Teams from 16 countries participated; Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, USA and of course Canada.	"On behalf of City Council and the citizens of Calgary, I hereby proclaim the week of August 23-30, 2008 as Calgary Padel Week" Dave Bronconnier, Mayor City of Calgary	Thank you to all sponsors for your support to the 2008 World Padel Championships.
